Iconography is the art of association.A collection of symbols/pictograms all built with shape, colour and line, which can embody an word, idea or concept. Often these associations come from History, objects, people and places but the main point being that they are distinct and recognisable.
How we do it

Iconography can express an entire concept in a succinct and efficient way, building a cohesive set of icons help us communicate effectively with the user very quickly. They can be used to signal intent, display information around state changes, mark triggers and states, they are their own language and it’s a information dense one at that. Without Iconography the digital product landscape would be a clunkier and an all round less efficient experience.
