Selling the idea before it exists
Embark’s vision was clear: help founders move faster by unlocking access to their grant money sooner. In a world where bureaucracy regularly delays real progress, the idea had weight.
But ideas don’t pitch themselves. And for a brand-new startup, landing that first raise can make or break momentum. With no name, no product, and a tight timeline, the challenge was to give Embark presence, clarity and confidence - before they’d even written a line of code.
Building the brand while building the pitch
From day one, we worked in tandem - developing the brand identity alongside the pitch materials. When you’re presenting to investors, the first impression isn’t just visual, it’s emotional. Our job was to make Embark feel credible, fresh, and worth backing at first glance.
We explored logo and identity directions rooted in progress and precision, then pulled brand elements directly into the pitch design. The tone was intentional: professional without being corporate, sharp without losing warmth.
We also created the first version of their website - laying out the mission, process, and story in a clean, confident way that made it easy for potential investors (and early partners) to get on board. The result was a consistent system: from slide one to the final scroll.
One strong start
With their deck, brand and site working in sync, Embark closed their initial raise and are now building in earnest. The momentum they needed? Unlocked.
